Du behöver pass, katten ska vara chippad och du behöver rabiesvaccinera. Sedan måste man vänta X antal dagar innan kattungen kan flytta. Vet inte hur många dagar det är till Tyskland. Det finns det kanske någon annan som vet? Den kan inte vaccineras före tre månader. Fick ett mail om det från en man på deras jordbrukspartement som inte var helt enkelt att förstå… men här är det i alla fall.

If you sell a kitten and the kitten is moved from Sweden to Germany you have to comply with COUNCIL DIRECTIVE 92/65/EEC laying down animal health requirements governing trade in and imports into the Community of animals, semen, ova and embryos not subject to animal health requirements laid down in specific Community rules referred to in Annex A (I) to Directive 90/425/EEC.

In this case the kitten must be older than three months and the kitten has to be identified either by a clearly readable tattoo or an electronic identification system (transponder). The kitten has to be accompanied by a  passport or a certificate issued by a veterinarian authorised by the competent authority certifying valid anti-rabies vaccination, or revaccination if applicable, in accordance with the recommendations of the manufacturing laboratory. In addition the certificate must confirm that, 24 hours before dispatch of the animals, a clinical examination was carried out by a veterinarian authorised by the competent authority showing the animals to be in good health and able to withstand carriage to their destination.

Kattungar över tre månader inom EU ska vara rabiesvaccinerade vid försäljning, man får inte ge vaccinationen innan tre månaders ålder och sen får de resa tidigast tre veckor efter vaccinationen.

Observera att kattungen måste vara ID-märkt vid vaccineringen med rabies, annars är den inte giltig för inskrivning i passet
